He had worried, wondered if the tiny restaurant, that he had discovered entirely by chance, was good enough for his Angel, his Amazon Princess who had dined in great houses, surrounded by world leaders, other royalty - she had even dined with the Gods, he knew.

So Steve watched her carefully as they entered the tiny restaurant, with only half a dozen tables, the lighting dim, but the walls bright with painted murals.

Delight was on her face, lit her blue eyes; they shone as she looked down at him, framed by curls of her black hair.

“This is lovely, Steve,” she murmured, took his hand, and not for the first time he wondered if she were telepathic, could read his mind. But his Angel just smiled, radiant like the sun, and Steve knew then, that it was truly perfect, could never be anything else but.

YAY, it was an awesome ending of this story. :) Poor Steve was so worried, thinking of all the other "world leaders, other royalty ans even Gods". But Diana's reaction was so amazing and so perfect. Loved it! :)

Thank you for sharing this beautiful story Star! :)

Poor Steve! *pets him* As I said to Brady, I think this was quite early in their relationship, and Steve was a little over awed, maybe... But Diana knew just how to put him at ease! :)

Thank you for commenting, Lis, I'm so glad you liked this little story! :)
