Krypto was whining softly, and Ace sighed. It was raining and Krypto had wanted to go out and play. But then the rain had started.

Krypto was miserable, tail tucked between his legs.

They had been forbidden from playing in the house. Krypto broke too many things.

Ace sighed again. It was warm inside the house, and lovely, delicious smells were coming from the kitchen.

They weren’t allowed there, either.

Krypto flopped over suddenly, so he was lying next to him. Ace sighed again as the rain increased. Krypto was snuffling at his ears, entirely bored. Ace closed his eyes. An afternoon of humouring Krypto, keeping him out of trouble?

Well, there were worse things.

Hee! I don't know who I feel worse for, bored Krypto or Ace for having to put up with him! :) I like the image of the rain pounding on the windows and Krypto complaining... :)

Poor Krypto! Knowing how much he loves to play, it must have been so hard for him. *pets him*

Oh and I hope the weather will get better soon, so they can go out and play. :)
