bradygirl_12 who asked for Bruce and wee!Dick: home. Unbetaed, so point and I shall correct! :D
Dick looked around in wonder. The house... no, it wasn't a house. It was a castle! It was scary looking, so huge and empty and lonely. Not like the circus. There everything had been bright and joyful, colorful and home.
Mr. Wayne - Bruce - came over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I know it's very different to the circus, Dick, and... Not really a home anymore, but I do hope, in time, that you will see it as such."
The hand on his shoulder squeezed, and the sun broke through the clouds, bathing the house and gardens in light and Dick gasped at seeing it transformed so completely.
He looked up at the man next to him, saw the anxiety in his eyes and smiled. "I think I will, Bruce."
Together, they entered Wayne Manor, their home, for the first time.
