Fic: The Kidnap
Title: The Kidnap
Rating: PG
Characters: Charlie, The Penguin, Dr. Mid-Nite, Batman

Author's Note: Unbetaed, so point and I shall correct! :)
This was not right. Charlie was feeling sleepy, all of a sudden. He shouldn't be feeling sleepy now, he had just woken up from his nap when these... idiotic humans came into the room in the Place The Nice Man Was At Lots.
These Idiotic Humans shouldn't have come into this room, they weren't allowed! So Charlie had hooted at them, telling them off. Then they had done... something to him, he felt pain in his chest, and he suddenly started to feel really sleepy...
The Idiotic Humans grabbed him, then, and put him in a tiny cage. Charlie tried to squawk, tried to fly away to the Nice Man, but he was too sleepy and could barely move.
The last thing he saw before everything went black was a fat human with a huge nose (he had to remember to use it as a perch later) stepping in front of him and then looking at him through the bars of the cage, before cackling, and calling Charlie 'his pretty'.

When Charlie woke up again he was in another cage. It was bigger than the last one had been, much bigger, and it had several perches in it. The bars of this cage glimmered oddly, golden. Charlie blinked at them, then looked around, seeing lots of other birds in cages all around him.
His cage was in the middle of them all.
The Fat Man With The Big Nose suddenly appeared in front of Charlie's cage, and he squawked in surprise. The Fat Man was saying something to him, and Charlie glared at him.
Stupid Humans. They kept getting stupider and stupider and when Charlie got out of this cage!!!! The Fat Man said the Nice Man's name, and Charlie's eyes widened. If the Nice Man had been hurt!!!!!!
He was just thinking of flying to the bars of the cage and trying to bite the Fat Man when there was suddenly a big 'BANG' and lots of smashing glass. Charlie 'whooed' in surprise, trying to dodge the glass. When he looked up again he saw... The Stupid Not-Not Perches Human!!
Charlie would never tell anyone how happy he was to see him. Not even the Nice Man.
The Fat Man With The Big Nose didn't seem happy to see him, and grabbed a... poking thing, but Charlie wasn't paying attention to him, or the Not-Not Perches Human anymore, because the Nice Man was there!
Charlie hooted at him, getting his attention. The Nice Man shouted his name and rushed over to the cage Charlie was in, quickly freeing him. Charlie immediately flew to him, hiding under his cape as gentle hands held him, petted him, soft words of reassurance making him coo.
Charlie peaked out when he heard all the crashing noises stop, then hopped onto the Nice Man's arm. The Nice Man petted him again, smoothing his feathers and tickling him, before asking Charlie to stretch his wings out. He did so, gazing up at the Nice Man in adoration.
The Evil Fat Man With The Big Nose had stolen him and The Nice Man had rescued him!
Charlie loved the Nice Man.
He cooed again, then looked around as the Nice Man finished checking his wings for any injuries. The Not-Not Perches Human had tied the Evil Man up, along with the other Idiotic Humans. He walked over to Charlie and the Nice Man, eyeing him warily.
The Nice Man thanked him, and so did Charlie, by flying up and perching on his shoulder, then nibbling at the Not-Not Perches.
The Nice Man laughed. Charlie flapped his wings. Everything was right again!
