Pirates Ahoy!

I think it was good. It was better than the second. And it left it open for a forth film. Elizabeth was slightly less annoying than in the second one. But only slightly. I think it's because she was forced to grow up in this one. And, shock horror, she actually loses!

The beginning is... a little gory. And there is less outright humor in this one. There are funny moments, but not like all the giant wheels in the second one.

There is a plot with Will that is hinted at in the second film that I didn't pick up on, but that is strongly hinted at throughout the 3rd film, so you expect it when it finally happens.

As they must, all the bad guys got what they deserved. Little surprised at what happened to Norrington, but I suppose it was inevitable.

One of the things that really annoyed me was was Will and Elizabeth stopping in the middle of a massive battle to kiss. In a fight that large, and messy, I don't think everyone is just going to ignore you. In fact, I would think they would take advantage of your obliviousness and kill you. Very quickly.

The special effects were very good. And so was the soundtrack.

The ending though... I'm not very happy with it. Jack belongs on the Black Pearl, damn it!

But, overall, I liked it. I think it was good. I'm not sure if I want there to be a fourth film, though. I think they might be over milking it if they do. But I would probably go and see it if they do.
