Drabble: Can We Play Yet?

Friend was snuffling at something, his cape rustling in the breeze. Next to him was Bat-Man, who was know kneeling down where Friend had been sniffing.

Krypto turned his head and whined softly, looking up at His Man. His Man smiled down at him, and stroked his head and ears, and Krypto wiggled in pleasure.

“Just a little longer, Krypto. I’m sure they’ll be finished soon.” He stroked his ears again, and Krypto snuggled closer, reaching up to lick his face, making His Man splutter.

“Down, boy, down!” But he still hugged Krypto and Krypto licked his hand.

He loved His Man.

A whine from below. Friend had finished! Krypto leaped from His Man, padding through the air to Friend, then put his front down. “Play now?” He asked, tail wagging hopefully.

“Home, then play.” Friend said, with a soft bark, and Krypto leaped back up, tongue hanging out, pawing through the air. They could play!

Oh this is so cute, I love the relationship between Krypto and his Man and his Friend. I think its funny that he calls Bruce Bat-Man when he has such loving names for Clark and Ace though.

Marvelous story Star! I loved it was written from Krypto’s POV. Krypto thinking of Ace as his friend - it was amazing. And Clark as his man - AWWWW, co cute. :) I think calling Bruce Bat-man was fitting - it could be exactly how Krypto would see him, IMO. :)

Aw, so cute. I like how Ace is (pretty much) all business and Krypto kind of has a problem focusing, lol. If it isn't an immediate threat to someone he cares about, it's not as important as playing!

Oh, and your descriptions of Krypto playing in the air and how natural it is for him to do doggy sorts of things while flying is so great!

Aww, this is adorable, Star! Like everyone else, I love the names Krypto has for everyone. His playfulness is just what Ace needs. I noticed that Ace wasn't annoyed or gruff but soft-spoken and eager to play, too. :)
