Poor Clark! It's tough for him to deal with these fragile humans, especially Bruce. You wrote his reaction very well, and Bruce's, too. Even Alfred is part of this, all of them either resigned or sad or accepting.

Poor Clark, and poor Alfred, too! It must be so difficult for them both, to know just how easily Bruce could die... *hugs them*
