*dances* Yay! I'm so glad you liked this, Jen! :D

Cyril is so awkward and nervous and sincere, and Beryl is just so smooth and perfect (besides dueling the coffee machine, which is a wonderful image!)

Hee! I'm really pleased you said that, since I worried a bit about Beryl. She's just so... slick when it comes to things like this, whereas I... am not, lol. But I really like the image of her dueling with the coffee machine too!

Awwww, I love the way they all interact! Clark is so cute here, and such a good reporter! And you do such a great job with Cyril and Beryl's relationship--he so clearly admires her SO MUCH, and yet they have such a fun, teasing tone to them.

Eeee, I had so much fun writing them all interacting. Clark being a reporter! Why don't they show that more in canon? And Cyril and Beryl's interaction was just really easy to write, with the banter, but the easy affection behind it all...

*grin* I imagined for a moment that Clark almost was a little startled and started to answer, lol. "Oh, oh...that's a rhetorical question. I see."

LOL, I giggled SO MUCH when I wrote that line. I'm sure Clark was panicking for a few seconds there! *pets him* Oh, and I'm glad you liked the line about irony, too, it was one of my favorites.

*dances again* Aw, yay, I'm really really glad you liked this! I had a lot of fun writing this - I'll have to write more Knight and Squire fic in the future! :)

Thank you for commenting, Jen! :D *glomps*
