Ahhhhhh! *flails around a lot* Oh, you captured the tone of Cornell's run just perfectly, I love it! Cyril is so awkward and nervous and sincere, and Beryl is just so smooth and perfect (besides dueling the coffee machine, which is a wonderful image!)

“Well, yes, but...” Cyril paused, waiting to see if he was going to be interrupted again.

LOL, I can totally see this as if it were actually a comic book, with a panel of Cyril waiting to see if he could finish. :)

“It’s an honor to meet you both, sir. I’ve heard a lot about you from a very trusted source.” Behind his glasses, his eyes seemed to twinkle for a moment.

Awwww, I love the way they all interact! Clark is so cute here, and such a good reporter! And you do such a great job with Cyril and Beryl's relationship--he so clearly admires her SO MUCH, and yet they have such a fun, teasing tone to them.

CK: What’s it like, being a superhero in Britain?
Squire: What’s it like being a superhero in America? (laughs)

*grin* I imagined for a moment that Clark almost was a little startled and started to answer, lol. "Oh, oh...that's a rhetorical question. I see."

K: Well, erm, no one really calls us that here, unless they’re, erm, being ironic.

*snickers a lot* I can totally see that, too. That's SUCH a canon-sounding line.

Star, thank you so much for this, you really made my day! Everyone here is totally adorable and low-key and funny, it was just a joy to read from start to finish.
