Bruce's heartbeat was loud in Clark's ear as he rested his head upon his chest after their most recent bout of lovemaking. One of Bruce's hands was tangled in his hair, cradling his skull.

He was warm beneath him and he smelled a delightful combination of their scents entwined. Clark breathed deeply, the smell already memorized.

Bruce's breathing had quietened now, his heartbeat was slowing, and Clark knew he was mere moments away from falling asleep. He turned his head, brushing his lips against Bruce's chest, feeling on the edge of sleep as well.

Clark closed his eyes and smiled.

What a beautiful, quiet and peaceful scene you caught here! I love the details of Bruce´s hand in Clark´s hair and Clark being able to memorise the scent.
It´s so lovely to see them together like this, cherishing the moment.
