dcu_freeforall Trinity table. Prompt of Golden Lasso. Unbetaed, so point and I shall correct.
Diana looked down thoughtfully at the lasso in her hands. The golden rope glimmered, almost curling around her hands and wrists of its own accord.
She smiled, and coiled it carefully. She didn't need it to know the truth. She never had.
She put it back on her hip, ready for the next battle, the next foe.
*****
Diana was watching Bruce and Clark argue after the latest battle. Superman been hit with a magic spell, and still didn't have his powers back fully. Batman had been injured as a consequence of one of Green Lantern's blasts of energy being rebounded.
Both of them had already yelled at Hal, though truthfully it had been no one's fault. Diana caught a look in Kal's eye, a certain turn of Bruce's body, and frowned to herself.
She felt the Lasso's weight on her hip, almost yearning to reach out and harness the truth from Bruce and Clark. She might not need it to be completely truthful to herself - or to others around her - but maybe her friends did.
*****
Diana sawed at the chains binding her with her tiara. The metal of the links was extra dense, making it harder to saw through, but she didn't linger in wondering why or how. It was just an inconvenience stopping her from fighting.
Her lasso was missing, but she didn't worry about that, either. It wouldn't stay away from her for long; it was the truth, after all, and she was it's guardian. It would come back to her, she had no doubt about that.
The chains gave at last, and she smiled fiercely, putting her tiara back on her head. Time to show these people the folly of angering an Amazon.
*****
Later, when the battle is over, Bruce gives her back her lasso. He doesn't say anything, but then, he doesn't have to. His body is less tense, and she can tell his eyes are lighter behind the cowl.
Later still, she sees Clark, and his smile is freer that it has ever been before; when he sees Batman his eyes light up like blue flames.
Diana doesn't even try to hide her smile, or her satisfaction.

Diana already knows, the Lasso knows, and now the boys know! ;)
I loved how you showed us Diana's eagerness for battle, and the descriptions of how different Clark and Bruce were after learning the Lasso truth. ;)

Great description!
Both of them had already yelled at Hal, though truthfully it had been no one's fault.
I couldn’t help it, but the image of Superman and Batman yelling on Hal brought me a smile. Oh, boys:) *Hugs them both*

Awesome!
I liked the way you wrote Diana and her POV of things in this story. And I loved the ending. That was so wonderfully written!
Great job!
Thanks for sharing. :)

I don't know why, just the idea of both of them all hurt and worried and chewing out Hal just made my day. :)

I really liked adding those touches - Diana's a little more fierce than I normally write her in this fic, lol. *pets Bruce and Clark*
Thank you for commenting, Brady! I'm really glad you liked it! :)
