Clark was buried in his notes for the article he was working on - the latest scandal from LuthorCorp.

He sighed. As he did so, there was a sudden 'thud'. He looked up, startled.

"Smallville. What's all of this?"

Clark blinked owlishly. All the notes for the article he and Lois were working on were adorned with a... a stamped black bat?

He looked from the papers, to Lois, then back to the papers. "Uh..."

Lois sighed, then rolled her eyes and stalked away, muttering under her breath about his bat fetish.

Clark looked down, feeling heat spreading quickly across his face. He swore he heard snickering coming from his open comm link with Bruce.

Clark sighed. Then, an idea struck him, and he smirked.

Bruce had lots of paperwork too...
